Maserati GranCabrio Fendi revealed
[Published at autoexpress.co.uk]Limited edition version of stunning drop top officially revealed ahead of Frankfurt debut
Meet the limited-edition Maserati GranCabrio Fendi. Majoring on styling and cosmetic rather than technical tweaks, the Italian stallion has been created with design powerhouse Fendi.
Featuring the same Ferrari-sourced 4.7-litre V8 engine from the regular GranCabrio, the car comes in a bespoke Grigio Fiamma Fendi three-layered dark grey paint, with an iridescent golden finish.
Fendi yellow features on the brake callipers and seat headrests, with the styling house’s logo appearing on the seats and a bespoke set of 20-inch alloy wheels.
Inside the car has been fitted with premium leather on the instrument cluster, gear level and the floor mats. The cockpit also features Fendi’s special wood trim on the dashboard, doors and on the top of the gear lever, all in Fendi’s signature yellow. The deep leather seats are also emblazoned with large 'F' branding, so it should be instantly recognisable with the roof down.
Further details including pricing, are likely to be revealed with the cars unveiling at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month, but style concious buyers should expect to pay upwards of £100,000.
